Thank you very much for the post and Merry Christmas!

  • ryo saeba

meh those shows after ppvs are always disappointing
we always want to see the follow up of the storylines after the ppvs matches, but no in fact you always see matches before the ppvs…….

    my predictions for tomorrow
1)Rongai/Arai beat Kokota/Shisa…..even if i d like to see kKkota pins Rongai
2)Yokosuka beat Kagetora(i ve no idea why those guys will face each other…aside they did not had anyone to fight otherwise)
    3)D.D beat Gamma Daiou
Gamma is already tag champ,i think K-Ness will go over here
4)Maraha Isaapa win the tag condenter match
5)YAMATO vs Hulk……i ve no idea…..YAMATO has lost momentum since losing to Yoshino like Hulk after losing to Shingo…well i ll go with YAMATO
6)Heel stable retains with a lot of cheat
7)I d like a heel to be champ,it would be so cool…but unfortunately the guy is Doi who has been champ like forever a few months ago.
If he had a 2 or 3 defenses reigns he might have some chances to win but it s clear Yoshino will retains to close the year on an happy note for the fans unlike last year where a guy was crying after losing his hair and the RH members were laughing while drinking beers(that was nice btw).
anyway,i think the next challenger will be Kid on a future infinity

    ****SPOILER ALERT****

even though i didn’t make predictions online almost everything went the way i was pretty sure the warriors would win the triangles simply because why else would they be getting a triangle shot so fast? and i think it may be because sugawara might be gone for a while again. i thought any of the teams could’ve won the twin challenger match but i think mochi & fuji may be part of the unit shakeup soon so it makes sense they won to me. i thought yamato would lose too because kamikaze will be taking a backseat for a while while the other units jump around, they will reemerge as the top face unit when it’s all said and done.

  • ryo saeba

Kaijin Habu Otoko will have the chance to carry Suga now ……..

    So,who will change of unit?.
    CIMA?,Hulk?
    What are your predictions?.

  • Zacky

I see Hulk changing unit mostly because as a member of World-1 he’s just the one taking all the falls in matches maybe the win against YAMATO is a breakthrough for him to branch out and start his own unit. Or at least join one of the existing ones

  • mastermind

If I had to guess I would say these masked characters have to do with CIMA, the C-Max eye paint & the fact that everything CIMA has done has had something do with the movie 300 (the uuuu chants, the beginning of his warriors theme, these persian assassin masks) i have a feeling he’s creating a sequel unit to crazy max. That being said I think Fuji, Mochi (replacing SUWA) and Shingo are 3 of the 6 masks. I think it’s possible that ricochet & brodie lee are 2 of the remaining 3 as well but I hope not.

If that were to come true I think BxB will wind up with Kamikaze, YAMATO will lead, BxB will be the rising 2nd and the rest will stay the same. Yoshineska will create something else perhaps or go solo

  • DanteDumile

Are Brodie and Richochet going to be mainstays? If not this is how I’d like to see unit shake up go, (although I forgot about the Americans and masked men, not too mention it’s unlikely even without that)

    MO’z 2010
    Doi
    Gamma
    Shingo
    Cyber Kong
    Kanda
    Naoki
    *KZY* (injured)
    *Sugawara* (gone?)

    KAMAKAZE
    Hulk (co-leader)
    YAMATO (co-leader)
    Horiguchi
    Saito
    KAGETORA
    *Taku Iwasa* (injured? retired?)

    Yoshineska/W1
    Yoshino
    K-Ness
    Susumu
    PAC
    Haskins
    Kokota
    Super Shenlong

    Veterans/Zetsurins
    CIMA
    Fujii
    Mochi
    Kid
    Araken
    Super Shisa

  • mastermind

personally i’d like to see the whole veterans warriors mess just go away

i think it’ll go like this

    Babyfaces
YAMATO, Hulk, Kong (for now), KAGETORA, KOTOKA, Tozawa (?) Iwasa (?)

Faces but not as popular (aka what kamikaze is now)
Yoshino, Susumu, K-Ness, Saito, Genki, DK, PAC

Heel but popular (aka what WARRIORS/Veterans are now)
CIMA, Mochi, Shingo, Fuji, Ricochet? Brodie Lee? 6th mask (Arai???)

    Super heel
    Doi, Kanda, Kzy, Suga, Tani

  • Seth

Brodie Lee has already left. Pretty sure it was just a short term thing. Ricochet sounds like he could be a bit of a longer term thing though the way CIMA keeps going on about him.

  • mastermind

nope brodie lee is signed from jan 14th – 18th and i know you don’t read the ppv spoilers but ricochet is going to be around for quite a while

  • ryo saeba

I can t wait to see Brodie Lee vs Sugawara vs Rongai …….

  • ryo saeba

who can win tournament to become first contender for brave gate? i hope it ll Kagetora, because he deserves more spotlight than being the weakest guy of his stable(even if i m wondering if the weakest member is YAMATO with his horrible losing streak).

  • mastermind

tanizaki is going to win probably with a lot of cheating kage will go after that

kamikaze is taking a backseat for now because this usually means not much will be changing with their unit while the other units will change around a lot so it’s a good sign for kaze fans that they’re pretty much out of the unit shuffle scene, and be glad YAMATO is jobbing in the main event and not in the first match to super shisa or kzy that’s when you should be worried

  • ryo saeba

He already jobbed to Kanda, that s pretty bad
Ok he took an avalanche of moves in a row ,but he has been pinned by a guy who ll be a midcarder all his life.

I d like YAMATO to turn heel one day
For me he s better as a heel, and he should have been a heel champion and not a babyface champion.

I ve no idea when a bad guy will be champion in dgate

  • mastermind

if you remember yamato was originally kanda’s protege so it makes sense he lost to him

shingo was the closet thing we’ve had after magnitude, he was kicked out of real hazard after he won but he kind of destroyed typhoon which was pretty heelish of him

  • TSS CF

I don’t understand , this infinity is after or before Gate of Destinty ?

I am french so it’s difficult to find good explications :s

  • ryo saeba

  • ryo saeba

What happened to that storyline where Doi was about to introduce a new member? Jae supposed it could have been Brodie Lee which won t be the case, so is that stuff still ongoing or it has been forgotten? anyway, who should come in that stable?Magnitude Kishiwada? An american indy guy?

  • kokop

Well we probably going to find out in the next DGUSA show, since Doi is in the mini-tournament for the company’s new tag titles and is keeping the identity of his partner a secret.

  • kokop

If, of course, is someone from the American indies.

  • TSS CF

Ok thx , but if this show is before Gate of Destinty , why we see a moments of the PPV ???

  • clayfox

@TSS CF: It’s cause the matches are taped before the PPV but the Infinity itself was shown on TV after the PPV.

I personally have nothing against pre PPV matches after the PPV. They don’t always have shows right after the PPV’s so they can’t tape anything. For me better then nothing!

    -clayfox

  • TSS CF

    Okay thx ;)

  • Zacky

Am I the only one who’d like to see PAC Vs Ricochet mini series? Maybe lead to a Brave Gate match? Just wondering

  • ryo saeba

i d like to see them fight too, because wow this double moonsault looks sick
it could be a great match of high flyers

  • ryo saeba

hey guys, would you like kevin steen to come back in dragon gate?.
he s freelancer now,so it might possible
personally,i d like that, especially if he resolve his knees problems and cut a little weight.

the guy will be a lot more entertaining than the like of Brodie Lee.

it ll be a nice addition to team doi.
they want to add new members,so why not him.he s a huge guy for dgate standars, can move very well…..

  • Zacky

Hmm Steen is a pretty agile person for being in the shape he is that is and like you said cut some weight and he’d be a pretty good addition to the Doi Unit.

Way better then Lee being here but I guess CIMA just added him so they have a true power guy seeing as Kamikaze has two maybe even three of the strongest guys on the whole roster in there ranks in Shingo, Kong, and in a way YAMATO is one of the stronger guys on the roster.

Someone I’d like to see in Dragon Gate, this is just me though, Paul London since he can fit the style pretty good he can do High Flying and he has a pretty good Technical game anyone agree?

  • mastermind

The whole crap with Steen is a work guys, he’s taking time off from wrestling period because he’s injured so forget about him for a while because he’ll probably be taking the entire year off

paul london wrestled for dgusa and was terrible i do not want to see him in dg japan no thanks maybe 3 or 4 years ago but not today

  • ryo saeba

@mastermind well no he still wrestle because i ve read he ll wrestle on a canadian indy show soon

but he should taking time off and ask Morishima how he could drop weight.
this guy who was in bad shape last year did some great matches,so he could ultra impressive with good knees and body

  • ryo saeba

maybe,Doi is gonna bring in a kowloon guy because they do have the same colors factions,so it could make sense

  • Seth

I don’t want DG bringing in too many US Indy guys. The style is already too US Indy like for my tastes, so bringing in more of those guys is just gonna annoy me personally. Paul London was pretty good back in the early ROH days but a long time has passed since then.

They need to just keep to the regular number of gaijin they usually do. IMO PAC and Ricochet are enough. I wouldn’t mind even if they brought in some visiting Mexican guys like before (when Ricky Marvin first came to Toryumon he lit the place on fire) but I know with Ultimo gone those ties are mostly broken so it probably won’t happen.

  • ryo saeba

i brought this discussion, because i ve read dragon gate wants to use wrestlers from dragon gate usa
i’m not for that, but if they want to bring in a big gaijin, they should use steen and not brodie lee(yeah,i know steen is not in contract with dragon gate usa)

if doi wants to bring in new members,he should bring some guy from others puro promotions, but i m not sure it s the plan

  • ryo saeba

as for Ricky Marvin,he s under contract with noah,so he could come in dgate, one of these days(he wrestled in osaka pro this year once)

  • ryo saeba

btw, will you have the last ppv soon?.
maybe, you can have it,before the 3 infinities that were broadcasted before it

  • Zacky

Well if you recall CIMA and Tozawa we’re in Mexico with the IWRG promotion so they could bring in some guys from there, though I don’t really know any of them. And hm your right I was thinking of the London of old and not his recent work. DG used to be a mostly Lucharesu style promotion right? Or am I mistaken?

As for people that Doi could bring in as mystery members most likely will be from Puro promotions unless he brings in the only other Heel Stable in DGUSA Ronin. But I doubt he’d bring in all 3 or any of them at all.

Has NJPW and DG ever had a working deal together? Or even AJPW aside from the Super Show coming up

  • ryo saeba

Njpw/Dgate worked together, because Liger was Dgate champ and Gedo/Jado challenged Susumu/Saito once
Dgate send Hulk in super best of junior 2007 , YAMATO in the super j cup 2009 and in super best of juniors 2009 or Mochizuki/Shisa in the super j cup jr tag tournament last year

I do not belive it was the case with ajpw, simply because jr were not a huge stuff until 2006 or so.
That s why,Kondo vs Doi is a big deal.
But a relationhip between Ajpw and Dragon gate, could be great because they have the best jr division after Dg.
They do have some very good jr

-Kaz Hayashi ( a lot of people hated him because he has had an incredible long reign recently but he can wrestle)
    -Minoru(my favorite wrestler)
    -Hiroshi Yamato
    -Kai
    -Bushi
    -Kondo

then they have Super hate,Mazada…..and Nozawa Rongai.

  • mastermind

Ricky Marvin has been in Dgate a lot and toryumon as well

i’d like to see some aj juniors in dg other than minoru who’s also worked dgate a whole lot as well

and dragon gate is on good terms with just about every puro promotion at least one person from the biggest majors to the smallest indy has worked dg in some capacity in the past 5-6 years

  • mastermind

and i told you tanizaki would win

  • ryo saeba

yes, your talents in predictions are impressive
but,i’m really happy you were about about Muscle Orchestra at WK.

  • ryo saeba

    i meant you were wrong

  • mastermind

yeah i was wrong about that but they didn’t get pinned either so we may see a rematch minus beer money and it will probably be muscle orchestra winning

i think the mystery shooting star masked man may be super shenlong after all which is good because he’s long deserved a push

but how about doctor muscle doing a firebird splash? could it be pac or bxb hulk joining doi gumi?

  • Zacky

If anything I think it’ll be PAC just for the fact that most Puro companies have an “evil” Gaijin plus at Kobe World PAC teamed with Doi and they got the win, plus along with Tanisaki, who’s already joined him, they won the Triangle Gate together.

But on the other hand as others have pointed out one of Doi’s usual partners in the World-1 was Hulk along with Tanisaki.

But one of the reasons, albeit a stupid one, I believe it’s PAC over Hulk is because Hulk mainly uses the Phoenix Splash, while PAC has used both the Firebird and Phoenix Splashes throughout his DG tenure.

Now as I said it maybe a stupid reason to assume PAC but hey it’s my stupid reason.

  • mastermind

i agree that it’s more likely that pac is the mystery doctor muscle just because they did this same angle for jack evans and to consider pac doi and tanizaki were triangle champs is not dumb at all i think it’s very good reason to have pac jump ship

  • Zacky

Oh no not the Triangle Gate reign being the stupid reason the reason I listed as stupid is that PAC uses both The Firebird and Phoenix Splashes while, to my knowledge, Hulk solely uses the Phoenix Splash.

That is what I listed as being the stupid reason.
