holy shit , that tag match was freaking awesome 8-O
best one since cima/ricochet vs pac/kid at world

the BW brave gate match was awesome too probably the biggest surprise of the year in dg

Yeah this is definitely one of the best Infinities I’ve seen for a while. The three way tag was pretty much a tag team dream match. The only other team that would have made it perfect would have been Speed Muscle.

The Brave Gate match was also super interesting. I don’t feel like this two count stip has lots of legs, but this was a great example of how to run it. The triangle match that has this stipulation though I don’t have too much hope for since we’ve already seen it once.

You were right when you said this is a must watch episode though mastermind.

I agree with that if they use it sparingly then it can be good and I hope they don’t over do it. I’m not expecting this triangle match to be anywhere near as good, for one it’s not at korakuen, but I think that either somebody is going to mess up or Gamma will be the only one getting pinned on the JIII side. It also pisses me off that Swann isn’t in the match. The original set up to this feud was kzy demanding Swann being a part of it and now that JIII finally got the match Swann’s not in it. He got screwed for no reason and that bugs me, now he’ll be jobbing to Saito in a meaningless match. I hope he gets at least 10-12 mins to showcase what he can do.

coming back to the tag match , i m not sure it was a dream tag match because i think dgate has had some many good tag team like osaka 06 , shingo/kong , shingo/kong for exemple and i did not saw every inifinity

it s incredible how quickly those guys can work well together

on one of the last infinity i saw , kong and doi teased an alliance , and well i believe they could mesh well to form a good muscular tag team

    • Seth

I wouldn’t say Shingo/Kong were one of the all time top tag teams by any means…

DoiYoshi, MaraIssa, AraiIwa, & K-Nesuka hands down the best DG tag teams they’ve had RyoSuka was also good as for the new gen tag teams RH YAMAKong was by far the best, I think Osaka06, Shingo & YAMATO, and especially Shingo/Kong, MochiFuji were too underused to be great teams. After a short twin gate run, all of those teams abandoned the tag scene for whatever reason. A new partner or one or both went for the triangle gates and won those.

  • Seth

YAMAKong was good but even so, wasn’t of the same calibre of the previously mentioned 4. Those are easily the top tier tag teams (RyoSuka being a candidate for 5th admittedly) Dragon Gate has ever had.

I do wish the Triangle Gate was a bigger deal than it is. Toryumon’s trio tag title matches were really what put the company on the map and when the title changed hands it was a major deal. While the Triangle titles are given second main event status at PPVs, who holds them really doesn’t matter at all. And we certainly can’t really be talking about the best trio teams in Dragon Gate really.

But alas, it seems lately the Twin Gate has taken the spotlight from the once great Triangle Gate.
