I’m going to try and start getting more of my back catalog onto the site. There won’t be much order to it, just whatever takes my fancy at the time. Since World is coming up soon I thought it fitting to post another World show, this time from 2002 and thus, Toryumon. I’m not going to be doing a super detailed run down of each match this time, but just so I don’t go too long without doing a recap I wanted to get this out while it was still fresh in my mind.

Dream Gate champion YAMATO puts his title on the line against recent King of Gate winner, and fellow KAMIKAZE member, Shingo Takagi. Elsewhere WORLD-1 and WARRIORS clash but with a returning, and slightly confused Ryo Saito, while the Triangle Gate titles are on the line against the, as yet, untitled Deep Drunkers team. Internal strife continues also within KAMIKAZE as Akira Tozawa and Cyber Kong battle to send the loser back to wrestling in untelevised dark matches.

Jae is doing a #DGThrowback week on Twitter and with the resurgence of H.A.G.E. and King of Gate just around the corner it seemed very appropriate for our next look down memory lane to be El Numero Uno 2003.
