Would Magu ever return?

It has been a while now since former Toryumon and Dragon Gate ace Magnum TOKYO made his return to pro-wrestling, after an injury hiatus sent him to South America to teach judo. His return, however, saw him enter the HUSTLE ring instead of the Dragon Gate one, but under the name Detective Alan Kuroki. He has since recently dropped this gimmick and returned, full time, to Magnum TOKYO.

Now, as a DG fan it is easy to get excited about this. However, he is a full time wrestler for...

GATE OF ANNIVERSARY

I finally have the GATE OF ANNIVERSARY PPV ready. It is the full show, unclipped including all commentary that bookends normal PPVs. So if you want to skip to the action head to around the 30 minute mark of part 1. It’s a pretty long show so had to be upped in 4 parts. I will be posting my thoughts on each match later.

Part 1:

GATE OF DECADE 3/15

The GATE OF DECADE show is a 2 hour special that aired on Samurai TV on 3/15/09 as a celebration for Dragon Gate’s 10th anniversary. It features matches that span DG and Toryumon’s history and although I don’t have the date’s of each match here is the match listing:

Genki Horiguchi vs Yasushi Kanda (early Toryumon)
Susumu Mochizuki vs Kenichiro Arai (early Toryumon)
CIMA, SUWA, Sumo Dandy Fuji vs Magnum TOKYO, Dragon Kid, SAITO (early Toryumon)
Milano Collection AT, Anthony W. Mori, Super Seisar vs Genki Horiguchi, Ryo Saito, Naoki Tanisaki...

Personally, I’ve found he has become very stale over the years, and I would really like him to take this opportunity...

WARRIORS-5 vs Real Hazard in South Korea

I don’t plan on making a habit of posting single matches, but this is a bit of a unique one in that it is from NKPWA, a Korean wrestling organisation where WARRIORS-5 battle Real Hazard. It’s a fun match where the crowd, who seem to know CIMA but not much else, are really into it. There aren’t many of them there, but as with most South Koreans, they don’t let that get them down and make enough noise to make up for it.
