Sorry I’m a bit late on posting the results for this. Dragon Gate USA held their first event over the weekend in Philadelphia and from the reports I’ve been hearing, it went down a treat. Sounds like every match save for Scorpio vs Doane was very good, especially the last three. BxB Hulk seemed to be seriously over also.
They announced that there will be a one night tournament to crown the new Dragon Gate USA only Open the Freedom Gate champion. This will be happening on September 6th. Smart money is on CIMA, perhaps over Hulk in the finals.
-UPDATE-
Seems I made a mistake on my timeline here. It looks like the OFG title will be decided at the Philadelphia show on November 28th. The September 6th show will be headlined by Doi vs Danielson and Shingo vs Davey Richards. (Thanks Marty).

First, great job on the site so far, I’m really digging how it’s coming along.
Anyway, the Open the Freedom Gate belt will be determined in Philly (at a show of the same name) on November 28th.
The September 6th show, called “Open The Untouchable Gate” in Chicago, will be headlined by Doi v. Bryan Danielson and SHINGO vs. Davey Richards.
The show was amazing, I was third row and had a blast.
I got pictures and autographs from all the Dragon gate guys, and they are all very cool guys, especially Yamato.
Hey Seth, I love the site. It’s been a huge part of getting me into Dragon Gate over the past 6 months. With that in mind, is there any way to start posting results after the jump? I want to come here for Infinity, but I don’t want to read what happens before I see it!
Marty: Thanks, I’ve updated the post.
Connor: Lucky you! Fancy sharing said pics?
Also, of course YAMATO is the coolest. He’s YAMATO!
GrecoRomanEyepoke: Thanks a lot. I will try posting results after the jump for a while and see how that goes down. I understand your wanting to avoid spoilers. I guess for so long I’ve been used to results actually being the show for a long time (back when we had to trade tapes to watch Tory/DG) that I forgot that it’s easy to view the matches soon after the results occur.
Thanks for the suggestion.
