Is the Knesuka theme the one they used before or is it new?
Yeah no recap last time as I was super busy at the time and now I feel like there’s no point in doing it (I also can’t remember it enough to do a write-up). I’ll most likely do one for this show though.
The picture quality was about usual this time. The last show just had some weirdness going on it and shouldn’t be assumed that it is usually like that.
I can’t remember Knesuka’s previous theme tbh. I’d have to go back and look at some old footage.

Speaking of themes i know there is a new cd which is release on june.

The themes of dgate are awesome like most of puro world in fact.

Yeah I know what you’re trying to say but I’m afraid I’m not gonna do that.
The main reason being I don’t want to post commercial stuff if I can avoid it. I know I’ve posted a commercial DVD rip in the past but as a general rule I want to stay away from putting up anything that people can get themselves if they’re willing to spend some cash. This is the same reason why I haven’t put up any DGUSA shows – because those DVDs are readily available to anyone on the web.
Basically, although Gaora wouldn’t be happy with me posting their shows and PPVs, I’m only doing so because it’s so hard for people in the west to watch this stuff. I’m not looking to try and rip anyone off, which is why I also don’t have a donate button or any ads. I just want to spread the DG love.
So to summarise: no commercial material will be posted here.
Just watched the matches 1 and 2 and it was cool.I hope we ll see Mark Haskins again as he seems quite good.Who is the leader of d drunkers?.Arai?.Kanda?.Btw,it s a former wrestler the bald referee right?.His back suplex on Arai was great looking.I know dgate has a lot of parody things and that ref seems to be a sort of general manager as he makes matches on infinity shows.
The refs are all former wrestlers.
The bald referee was Bakery Yagi in the Italian Connection unit, he also plays Johnson Florida (the fat one not that bad knee one) and yes he’s also commissioner yagi
Kinta isn’t a fomer wrestlers afaik. He was the ref in T2P and has had wrestling training, but was never an actual wrestler like Yagi.
I don’t think there is a leader for Deep Drunkers right now. However, as much as it pains me to say, if I had to choose it seems maybe Suga is the most likely leader right now.
I’ve seen some footage of old dgate stuff and 1 ref seemed to be heel with the muscle outlaws.What was the storyline?.
Btw,it’s dead the owarai belt?.
I know that ref won this belt some years back….he wrestled or what?.I know it’s the strangest belt in the world as you can lose but if people cheer you more than the winner ,well you win….
It explain why stalker win it even if often lose,even if personally i would boo him as he’s the lamest character in the wrestling world.

Oh yeah,btw,when they are hired in dgate, wrestlers are asked to have cool haircut?.
Yes,i know arai is bald,but all the others guys seems to treat their hair ultra well.
Maybe,they’re asked to have cool haircut to attract their female japanese fans.
heck,even a not beautiful guy like gamma,seem to care about his weird haircut.
My question might seem lame but well the dgate wrestlers are the one who treat their hair the most well.
That ref was Kinta. It’s not that uncommon for a ref to be a heel. Way back when Kanda also did the same thing after he retired. Kinta was kicked out after… well winning a loser leaves MO’z match against Gamma.
I think the owarai belt is still around. Haven’t seen it for a while though. Basically anyone can win it, even if they aren’t competing in the match. It’s pretty much whoever is the funniest as decided by the fans. Hence why it’s no surprise a ref has held it (they play a big part in comedy matches).
and about the hair?.
yeah,probably you do not know that but well tell me it if this is the case.
haha yes well I don’t know if they force them to take care of their hair but it wouldn’t surprise me. As you say a lot of DG’s fans are female and so the image of the wrestlers is very important.
You have an idea who is the special guest this time?.

The girl on the announcing table. You know each time they have a celebrity as announcer who is almost always a girl(exept that idiot of last year).So,who is she?.Btw,why genki has a warriors 5 shirt?.I thought they were only called warriors now….
There was no evidence on the PPV of a change from Warriors 5 to warriors, so I’m still not convinced that that’s official.
I have a doubt that is bothering me in quite some time, it’s about the kobe pro wrestling festival.
Is this the most importante show, the major show in Dragon Gate, I mean is it the WrestleMania of Dragon Gate?
Yes,rafa you’re right.
A lot of promotions have their own major event.
For Njpw it’s in january,for Ajpw it’s on summer,and for Dgate it’s that show.
Some promotions does not have a more important show like Noah.
Btw,Mastermind ,you who follow all the promotions.
Which is the most important between ddt,Big Japan and Zero 1?
I do not watch them but i do wonder….
This site is the main reason why Dragon Gate is now my favorite Japanese company. This was an awesome show, and kudos to Seth for everything he does on this site.

ZERO-1 is the most “important” by far. BJW & DDT are gimmick promotions and don’t win over most mainstream fans. When they first opened in 01 they were thought of as one of the big 4. The main event of their first show was Hashimoto & Nagata vs Misawa & Akiyama. After Hashimoto retired (and eventually passed away) things pretty much went downhill, Otani and Tanaka did their bests to keep it running and they got a sweet tv deal (commission from ratings or something crazy like that) but it will never be what it once was. They don’t even fill korakuen anymore but I suppose it doesn’t matter as long as people watch it on tv.
You were right about munenori sawa,he’s pretty good.Hopefully,dgate will bring him again.
i’ve read that kenta kakinuma is the exact copy of akira tozawa,is this true?.i talk about the gimmick.
btw,you said me akebono was pretty good in his ajpw ppv match,but i’ve seen the match and he did the same crap as always.Big elbow drop,running body press…. .I’m glad Minoru and Kondo were there,otherwise i would have skipped that…
It’s interesting suwama vs kono ,and kojima vs hama?.For suzuki vs funaki and kaz vs kai it’s clear it’s gonna be good,even if the wrong guy won for the jr but the others matches i’m not sure about the quality(kono is not great for me and has zero charisma).
It’s clear you were right otherwise,the undercard matches of the dgate ppv are much more cool than the ajpw’s one which were just decent.
Dgate is the second most interesting puro promotion after njpw imo.
