I wondered after reading these posts, when Dragon Gate title a show, i.e. AGGRESSIVE GATE, is that the name of just one show or do they give a name to each tour they do? Etc? How does the year’s structure of show names work? I.e. how many PPVs, how many tours?

unlike the others promotions like njpw there are no ppvs at the end of each tours.
there are just 5 ppvs in a year:in march , in may, in july(the biggest one),in november and december.

explain me the story of blood generation. i ve seen them in roh and they were cool like the name of their stable.
what leaded to the hair vs hair match between cima and gamma? why ryo saito s reign sucked? i ve seen old footage of him in roh and he was great in the ring(the fisherman express was awesome he should still use it. )
which is the strongest faction in dgate now for you?Now it s kamikaze s time but world 1 or warriors are potentially stronger. btw,it s suck drunkers is the weakest because i love heel and it s a shame they re so weak.You can t be world champ if you re heel and now heel are weak.Damn,i enjoy watching dgate but i want bad guys strong otherwise it s less fun.
Anyone can feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the reason Saito’s reign sucked was because he was never supposed to be champion then. Magnitude Kishiwada had ended Masaaki Mochizuki’s long Dream Gate reign, and then Kishiwada got injured. Saito took the belt from Kishiwada almost immediately after the injury happened. I think the plan was for Saito to lose to Kishiwada to set up a longer chase for Ryo.
Saito didn’t have a reign his lost his first defense against Susumu.
Blood Gen formed after the death of Crazy MAX, the original 3 were CIMA, Fuji & Shingo. Right after Doi stopped going by 2nd he betrayed FM2K and joined. YOSSINO was alone after Milano left and began forming a team with K-Ness. In their first match he betrayed K-Ness and started going by his real name. The fact that he ditched the tarzan looked pissed off all the ladies and it was hard for him to get back over for a while. Big Boss Magma from Osaka pro was their next surprise member to join he became Magnitude. He went on to win the dream and got injured. He brought in a friend from Osaka which turned out to be Gamma. This pissed off CIMA and he dropped kicked gamma during this announcement. Fuji held back CIMA while the rest of Blood held back Gamma. I think on the same day Tanizaki also became a member and sided with the eventual Muscle Outlaw’z team. CIMA & Fuji lost to Gamma & Doi in the Blood gen name rights match. They refused the name and became MO’z. Blood was left with CIMA, Fuji & Shingo. Shingo was off in the US so Jack Evans & Matt Sydal (aka Evan Bourne) became members. BxB Hulk also aided them as did Jushin Thunder Liger but never joined the group. CIMA & Hulk started what was called Blood Hearts but it never took off. CIMA decided to retire the unit and had BG’s & FM2K’s final match at the same time.
What lead to the hair vs hair match was non stop CIMA & Gamma matches. When Gamma arrived he was basically the evil CIMA. As time went on his hair got wackier and wackier, and the two started shaving each others heads after their various matches (triangles, no dq’s, they even had a costume swtich match) finally they had the hair vs hair which gamma ending up winning (twice actually)

Ok I’m fairly neutral here. Maybe just a teeny bit biased, but I thought that was time for Ryo Saito to win the Dream Gate. He finished off the last year with wins over CIMA, at the top of his popularity, and just won King of Gate. He was in my opinion, on the road to become the first Dragon Gate-made star.
Although i watch DG for the matches, it would be nice to be able to follow the promos and backstage stuff too but alas I dont speak japanese, would it be possible for someone to do rough translations?

@nate Ryo wouldn’t be the first “Dragon Gate made” star. He became a star at the end of Toryumon Japan. The first DG made star will always be shingo. Shingo, Hulk, YAMATO, Tozawa, Kong, Shenlong & Tomokomai are the only DG trueborns still around.

damn,this first match is crap i mm going to skip that…..
btw,why yokosuka s reign was a letdown?.
it might be because he did not had enough connection with the fans because of his lack of charisma.
i do not think it was about his in ring abilities which are great imo.
Horiguchi vs Tigers will happen in Osaka a few days before as will CIMA vs Buffalo
and yes Saeba that’s part of the reason why Susumu’s reign sucked, another reason was that weird revolution angle that mochi, magnum and fuji were doing that made no sense but they paid Tenryu & Minoru Suzuki to be part of it so they were busy doing that. K-Ness was injured, Nakajima and TAKA michinoku were gone so Susumu’s only unit backup was Arai and he was feuding with Tozawa Juku. There was no purpose behind Susumu’s reign other than 1 match with Dragon Kid. Everyone else was feuding with the Muscle Outlaw’z. Finally they gave Susumu Pentagon Black? (Yeah out of all of the MO’z members he gets him) 2006 was a mess.
those triangle straps seems to change very time.you like that guys?.Me not a lot it weaken the tna prestige of it. Hopefully the others members of kamikaze , world 1 and d drunkers will find a place on that card.It would make me sick the guys of the 1rst match are on the show and not all of the others(i m affraid Arai , Kagetora , Pac and Kokota won t be in it……. )
the opening match will probably have kagetora and pac or kotoka in it. We’ll probably get Cyber, Kage & Haskins vs Shisa, Kotoka & PAC or something like that.
this still leaves Ryo, DK, Tani and all 4 DD’s without a match
you like that ppv card? i mean a little disappionted.Yeah the main event is a dream match and Shingo vs Hulk will be great but zetsurins vs k-neuka and of course the first match does nothing for me.I would have prefered Saito and Kid put their story aside and challenge for the straps.Furthermore,you said me the bodyguard and buffalo are just ok so i would choosen an other team. I hope drunkers will face world 1 with the tanisaki story to spice up things.
btw,i know kikuchi will wrestle in dg soon.You know why he always does this weird face?He has a special gimmick?
Kikuchi is just and old guy on the verge of comedy only matches he was on of AJPW’s top juniors back in the day
