Ads on the site

I have said in the past that I didn’t want to put any ads on the website for various reasons, unfortunately mounting costs running this place has made it an inevitability. While you are in no way obliged to, it would really help me out if you would click on the banners each time you watched a show, or even just once in a while.

I’ll be sure to never make the ads too much more intrusive such as popups or vokens. Everything else remains business as normal.

We’re back up to regular working order

I managed to evict the mice and scrape off the pigeon crap and things look like they’re back to normal again. I’m not entirely sure what was the problem (apart, obviously from the rodent infestation) so I’m a little worried it may happen again, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it just in case.

In other news, King of Gate has concluded with a not so surprising winner. Stay tuned for upcoming Infinities to see the results. Compilation Gate round-up will be coming soon. I’ve been away so haven’t had a chance to write it yet but it will be coming for sure this time.

Currently experiencing technical issues

As you may have noticed there appears to be some technical issues with the old site not working correctly right now.

Vimeo is experiencing some technical issues right now so it will be a few hours possibly before I have the Sumo Hall PPV up.

Basically just in time for you to watch it instead of Wrestlemania one would hope

Next series on Open The Dragon Gate

Now that the T2P series is over it’s time to start a new one. This time though, since we now seem to have a number of regular visitors, I’d throw the question out as to what kind of series you’d like to see next. I can’t guarantee that I will either a) be willing to do it or b) be able to, but it doesn’t hurt to have some ideas flowing.

Some examples of series that I was thinking of would be thus:

• K-ness vs Yoshino series
• Darkness Dragon vs Dragon Kid series
• Dragon Kid vs SUWA series
• M2K vs Crazy MAX saga
• Do FIXER vs Blood Generation saga
• Ultimo Dragon compilation

Obviously most of these are based around Toryumon as I’d like to try and chronicle as much of this promotion as possible for those new to Dragon Gate, but feel free to suggest ideas centered around Dragon Gate also. If enough people want it I could even do a Naruki Doi title defenses compilation, but I think that’s fairly unlikely

So get those juices flowing and let me know in the comments what you’d like to see coming up.

OpenTheDragonGate.com changes

As a continuing effort to improve the site you will see some changes coming over the next little while. The most obvious one is the current redesign. This is only part way finished as I hope to bring a bit more life to the site.

However, as a result there may be a few strange idiosyncrasies here or there as part of the teething process so please bear with it for the current while.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve OpenTheDragonGate.com or just want to offer some general feedback please feel free to leave a comment.
